Launch pad for Angara will be delivered to Vostochny along the Northern Sea Route by September.

At the Vostochny cosmodrome specialists from the Vostochny Space Center together with the Progress RSC (parts of Roscosmos State Corporation) completed the cycle of mechanical assembly of the “package” (stages 1 and 2) of another "Soyuz 2.1b" rocket in accordance with the schedule.

At the "Vostochny" cosmodrome the joint team of specialists from the Vostochny Space Center and the "Progress" RSC (parts of Roscosmos State Corporation) in accordance with a schedule completed the package assembly cycle (1 and 2 stages) of the "Soyuz-2.1b" launch vehicle.

Specialists of the Vostochny Space Center together with the RSC "Progress"(parts of the Roscosmos State Corporation) on January 10, 2020, began preparing the components of "Soyuz-2.1b" launch vehicles.

A special train with "Soyuz-2.1a", "Soyuz-2.1b" rocket parts and a head fairing arrived at the Ledyanaya station near the Vostochny cosmodrome.

A "Soyuz-2.1b" rocket with "Meteor-M" № 2-2 meteorological satellite and 32 small satellites was launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome. The launch took place at 8:42 (Moscow time).

This morning, on July 2, 2019, the "Soyuz-2.1b" launch vehicle was rolled out from the technical to the launch complex of the Vostochny cosmodrome and installed in the launch pad. The launch of the "Soyuz-2.1b" launch vehicle with the "Fregat" upper stage, the Russian meteorological spacecraft "Meteor-M" № 2-2 and other associated satellites is scheduled at 08:41 (Moscow time) on July 5, 2019.

Today, on July 1, 2019, specialists from Roskosmos enterprises completed the general assembly of the "Soyuz-2.1b" rocket in the Assembly and Testing building of the Vostochny cosmodrome. The launch of the "Soyuz-2.1b" launch vehicle with the "Fregat" upper stage, the Russian meteorological spacecraft "Meteor-M" № 2-2 and other associated satellites is scheduled at 08:41 (Moscow time) on July 5, 2019.

Today, on June 28, 2019, specialists of Roscosmos enterprises, using a transborder gallery, transported the space head part, assembled the day before, to the Assembly and Testing facility of the launch vehicle. In the Assembly hall, the joint team of specialists in accordance with the complex schedule performed the assembly of the head part with the third stage of the carrier. Launch is scheduled for July 5, 2019.

At the "Vostochny" cosmodrome, the planned preparation for the upcoming launch continues. At the refueling station, the specialists of the "Vostochny" Space Center (“TSENKI” company branch) completed filling the upper stage “Fregat” with fuel components. The launch of the "Soyuz-2.1b" launch vehicle with the "Fregat" upper stage and the Russian "Meteor-M" № 2-2 meteorological satellite and the associated payload is scheduled for July 5, 2019.
