Last weekend search and rescue team arrived in Kazakhstan to meet Russian-American crew of Soyuz TMA-14M spacecraft that finished its orbital mission.

“On Saturday search and rescue team members arrived in Kazakhstan from Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk regions ensure  Soyuz TMA-14M spacecraft crew landing planned for March 12, 05:09, Moscow time, that will take place 148 km to the southeast of Zhezqazghan town”.

Russian cosmonauts Elena Serova and Alexander Samokutyayev and American astronaut Barry Wilmore landing onboard Soyuz TMA-14M spacecraft spent about 170 days on the orbit.

Using off-roaders and specially equipped helicopters operational crews will ensure the search and rescue operations. On the whole about 200  militaries, 14 Mi-8 helicopters, 3 An-12 and An-26 aircrafts and 6 amphibian vehicles will take part in the landing provision operations.
