Both main and back-up ISS-41/42 mission crews passed "standard flight day" exams.

Space industry specialists continue preparation works for the launch of Soyuz TMA-14M manned spacecraft to the ISS from Baikonur spaceport.

At the present time RSC Energia specialists are conducting Soyuz TMA-14M spacecraft leak tests in 2b integration building of #2 launchpad.

ISS orbit was adjusted on August 27, at 12.37.

The cosmonauts passed the training on Soyuz TMA-M spacecraft manual docking with the ISS on Don-Soyuz simulator. This week main and back-up crews are to pass one more examinational training so called ”Standard flight day”, on September 3 and 4 ISS-41/42 will start complex training summing up the results of their preparations in Star City.

On August 18, 2014 according to the ISS flight schedule ISS-40/41 mission crew members Alexander Skvortsov and Oleg Artemyev will perform the spacewalk.

Soyuz TMA-15M manned spacecraft delivered to Baikonur on August 15.

RSC Energia specialists arranged for Soyuz TMA-15M crew commander Anton Shkaplerov practical trainings in acordance with the ISS flight program.

Russian cosmonauts Alexander Misurkin and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov will pass the trainings in caves of Sardinia Island (Italy) in the period from September 7 to September 20, 2014. European astronaut Luca Parmitano and NASA astronauts Michael Fossum and Scott Tingle are also going to take part in this program.

Yesterday on August 12, at 17.30, Moscow time, European cargo space vehicle ATV-5 (Georges Lemaître) docked with Russian service module Zvezda. Station reboost maneuver was scheduled for August 14, 20:58, Moscow time.
