At Baikonur Cosmodrome planned preparations for the launch of the "Proton-M" launch vehicle in the interests of Eutelsat S.A., a global satellite communications operator, are in process.

At the Baikonur Cosmodrome is undergoing a planned preparations for the launch of the "Eutelsat-5WB" and "MEV-1" satellites by the "Proton-M" heavy carrier rocket.

The "Proton-M" heavy-class rocket, launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on August 6, 2019 at 00:56 (Moscow time), successfully put into the calculated orbit the spacecraft in the interests of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

On the night of July 22, 2019 from the Khrunichev Space Center (part of Roscosmos State Corporation) the parts of the "Proton-M" launch vehicle (the head fairing, the transition system and the "Briz-M" upper stage) was sent for the launch of Eutelsat 5 West B and MEV -1 satellites.

From launch pad № 81 of the Baikonur cosmodrome on July 13, 2019 at 15:30:57 (Moscow time) a successful launch of the "Proton-M" carrier rocket with the upper stage "DM-03" and the space astrophysical observatory "Spectrum-RG" was performed. The spacecraft is taken under control.

The preparation for the launch of the "Proton-M" space rocket with a upper stage "DM-03" and the "Spectrum-RG" spacecraft and the elimination of identified deviations in the launch vehicle will continue until the meeting of the State Commission on July 12.

Today, on July 9, 2019, the "Proton-M" launch vehicle with the Russian "Spectrum-RG" observatory was delivered to the launch complex of the site № 81 of the Baikonur cosmodrome and installed on the launch pad. The launch of the "Proton-M" launch vehicle with the "DM-03" upper stage and the new "Spectrum-RG" orbital observatory is scheduled for July 12, 2019 at 15:31 (Moscow time).

"Proton-M" launch postponed. The State Commission decided to postpone the launch decision to the backup date.

Today, on June 14, 2019, in accordance with the decision of the State Commission, the "Proton-M" launch vehicle with the upper stage "DM-03" and the new "Spectrum-RG" orbital observatory were rolled out from Assembly and Testing building of site 92A-50 to the launch pad. On the morning of June 21, a meeting of the State Commissions will take place, at which decisions will be made on refueling and the launch of the"Proton-M" space rocket, scheduled at 15:17:14 (Moscow Time). Together with the "DM-03" upper stage, they will launch the Russian "Spectrum-RG" astrophysical observatory into orbit.

Today, on June 13, 2019, a meeting of the State Commission was held at the Baikonur cosmodrome at which the results of the preparation of the "Proton-M" launch vehicle with the "Spectrumr-RG" spacecraft and the ground infrastructure of the launch complex were reviewed. The launch of the "Proton-M" launch vehicle with the "DM-03" upper stage and the "Spectrumr-RG" Russian astrophysical observatory is scheduled for June 21, 2019 at 15:17:14 (Moscow time). "Spectrum-RG" is a Russian project with German participation, aimed at creating an astrophysical orbital observatory, designed to study the Universe in the X-ray wavelength range.
