Soyuz-2.1b booster with Glonass-M spacecraft delivered to the launch pad of Plesetsk cosmodrome

According to RIA Novosti, specialists of Plesetsk cosmodrome rolled Soyuz-2.1b booster with Glonass-M spacecraft to the launch pad of site # 43, representative of Space Defense Force of Defense Ministry colonel Alexey Zolotukhin told journalists on Tuesday.

The launch of rocket is planned for April  26.

“Today, on April 23, specialists of cosmodrome moved and installed the Soyuz-2.1b rocket booster at the launch pad of site # 43, where the combat operational crew will perform a number of tests of booster components and systems as well as launch equipment “, — Zolotukhin said.

The decision about Soyuz-2.1b booster with Glonass-M spacecraft roll-out to the launch pad was taken at the meeting of State commission on tests of spacecrafts and boosters, which happened one day earlier.
