The cooperation between Gagarin cosmonaut Training Center and Moscow State University lasts for several decades. In 1983-2003 it was the most efficient when GCTC and university scientists carried out a series of interesting researches  using unique TsF-18 centrifuge complex. The results got were highly rated both by the scientific community and the state. The joint team of GCTC and Moscow State University scientists washonored with state awards  twice: with the Soviet Union award  in 1989 and Russian Federation award in 2002.Currentlu there are efforts made to renew the scientific cooperation between the Centre and University. GCTC Head S.K. Krikalev and MSU rector V.A. Sadovnichiy signed new Cooperation Agreement and a Program of Joint Researches.

These documents provide for fundamental and application researches for the future manned flights to the deep space. Both GCTC simulators and MSU research stands (e.g. unique panoramic stand virtual reality will be used in the process of future research works.

Educational field will be the new component of GCTC and MSU cooperation. The program has a specific content and provides works for the period of 2013-2015.

It includes preparation and implementation of new space experiments, researches of possibilities of creation and application of robotic systems to ensure safe and efficient operation of cosmonauts on the Earth orbit and on the other planets,  etc.

The youth will also take part in GCTC and MSU scientific and educational programs.
