ISS orbit was increased by 2 kilometers with the help of Progress M-21M cargo vehicle thrusters, – Mission Control Centre representatives reported.

The thrusters were ignited at 06:07 Moscow time and worked for 7 minutes and 83 seconds. As a result of this maneuver the medium altitude of the station orbit increased from 412,2 to 414,2 km, – the spokesman said.

Station reboost maneuver was performed to create optimal ballistic conditions for Soyuz TMA-12M docking with the ISS. Soyuz spacecraft will be launched from Baikonur spaceport on March 26.
