ISS-39 mission crew is preparing for the return to the Earth according to the ISS flight program.

Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Tyurin, JAXA astronaut Koichi Wakata and American astronaut Rick Mastracchio will return to the Earth onboard Soyuz TMA-11M manned spacecraft. The crew spent onboard the ISS about 188 days.

According to the plan  Soyuz TMA-11M will undock from the ISS on May 14, 2014.

Soyuz TMA-11M manned spacecraft was launched from Baikonur spaceport on November 7, 2013. The crew delivered  to the ISS the symbol of Winter Olympics 2014, Olympic  torch was included in crew’s insignia and both the booster and the spacecraft itself were decorated with Olympic ornament.

In the course of ISS-39 and ISS-40 missions Mikhail Tyurin took part in more than 50 scientific experiments 48 of which were started by previous ISS-mission crew and 2 (“Biopolymer” and “Otklick” ) are the new ones.
