Angara-1.2PP booster will be rolled-out to the launchpad of Plesetsk spaceport (Arkhangelsk region) today, on June 25.  The decision was taken by State Commission meeting held on Tuesday and headed by Aerospace Defence troops Commander Lieutenant General Alexander Golovko.

“Commission members considered the results of Angra-1.2PP preparations, ground facilities readiness for the launch and approved the date of the booster’s roll-out to the launching complex”, – representative of Russian Ministry of Defenсe press-office management on Aerospace Defenсe troops Alexey Zolotukhin reported.

Currently spaceport specialists are completing final operations on preparing the rocket for transportation.

Spaceport operational crew controls all rocket systems and prepares the launchpad  equipment for future electric and pneumatic tests of Angara-1.2PP booster and filling it with propellant components, – Zolotukhin mentioned.

The first test launch of  Angara-1.2PP booster is scheduled for June 27.
