Soyuz-ST Booster being Prepared for the Launch in Guiana Space Centre

Preparations for the launch of Soyuz-ST-B booster with Fregat-MT upper stage and O3b space devices are under way in Guiana Space Centre (French Guiana).

On Tuesday JSC Progress Rocket and Space Centre docked the third stage with the booster. Lavochkin Research and Production Association and TsENKI specialists filled Fregat-MT upper stage with propellant components and pressurized gas, while TsENKI operational crews prepared launchpad systems and facilities for the installation of the booster.

Soyuz-ST-B booster will be launched on December 18, 21:37, Roscosmos press office reports.
