Roscosmos: Condor-E Satellite to be Launched from Baikonur on December 18

The launch of RS-20 booster with Condor-E №2 satellite from Baikonur spaceport is scheduled for December 18, – Roscosmos spokesman reports.

The launch of RS-20 booster with Condor-E space device is planned for 07.55, Moscow time.

Condor series earth remote sounding satellites developed by NPO Mashinostroyeniya are designed to get high-quality shots necessary for earth sounding.

Export models of this satellites are called Condor-E. The first Condor space device was launched on june 27 2013.

RS-20 booster is designed to set space devices weighting up to 3,7 tons ito near-Earth orbits (300-900 km) quickly and   highly-precise.
