Preparation works for Proton-M with Inmarsat-5F2 satellite launch are under way at Baikonur.

Yesterday, January 26, 2015,  in 92A-50 integration building of Baikonur spaceport rocket and space industry specialists completed technological operations on rocket assembling and testing. Today morning Proton-M booster with space headcomprising briz-M upper stage and Inmarsat-5F2 space device  installed on it was delivered to the filling area.

For two days low-pressure tanks of Briz-M upper stage will be filled with propellant components. These are the final operations before the roll-out of the rocket to the launching pad.

The preparations are being accomplished in accordance with the schedule.

As usual it is State Commission to take a decision on rocket’s roll—out and installation onto the launchpad.

He launch of Inmarsat-5F2 is planned for February 1, 2015.

Initial weight of the space device  approximately amounts to 6 tons. This launch will be the first one for 2015 performed with the help of Proton.
