Japanese businessman Satoshi Takamatsu who has been passing preflight trainings in Star City is not going to fly to the ISS in September instead Sarah Brightman; he will continue training in Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre to become certified space flight participant in the future, – Space Adventures Company reports.

“Satoshi Takamatsu signed the contract for space flight. Since January he has been passing trainings as a member of Soyuz TMA-18M back-up crew. And nevertheless Takamatsu is not going to fly to the ISS he made up his mind to go on with these trainings to be well-prepared for the space flight. We hope he understands that his dreams of ISS flight may come true in 3 – 4 years”, – Space Adventures Company President Tom Shelly says.

Takamatsu started his carreer in Dentsu, Inc – Japanese big advertising agency. In 2005 he founded his own company. Takamasu has many awards in advertising such as Cannes Lions and NYADS. He is also chief executive director of several movies about space and space travelling.

Brightman’s flight was planned for September 2015 and was supposed to last for 10 days. Brightman was to become the 8th space tourist to visit the ISS, but mid-May the singer announced that she is unable to take part in the flight for family reasons.
