Russian cosmonaut  Gennady Padalka who holds the world record on total space flight duration, Kazakh cosmonaut and first Danish astronaut Andreas Mogensen will return to the Earth on Saturday, – Roscosmos representative reported.

“According to MCC specialists calculations Soyuz TMA-16M will undock from the station on September 12, 00.29, Moscow time. The thrusters will be ignited for deorbiting at 02.59 and Soyuz will enter the atmosphere at 03.29”, – Roscosmos spokesman stated.

According to him the descent module will land 146 km to the south east of Jezkazgan town at  03.52.

Search and rescue crews have already arrived in Kazakhstan to ensure the Soyuz landing. About 200 military officers, 14 specially equipped Mi-8 helicopters, 4 An-12 and An-26 aircrafts and 14 cars.

Russian cosmonaut Gennady Padalka started his 5th spaceflight on March 27, to that time he had already spent 710 days onboard. On June 29 at night he bet world record set up by Sergey Krikalyov who performed 6 flights and worked onboard 803 days, 9 hours and 41 minutes.
