New Orlan-MKS spacesuits will be delivered to the ISS by the end of 2016, – Russian ISS segment flights Director Vladimir Solovyov stated.

Earlier it was reported that that the cosmonauts would use modernized Orlan spacesuits equipped with automated thermal control system enabling them not to spend time turning it on and off during the spacewalk on February 03.

But Orlan-MKS haven’t been delivered  to the ISS by that time that’s why Russian cosmonauts Yuri Malenchenko and Sergey Volkov accomplished their EVA mission in Orlan-MK.

“This year we plan to deliver to the station three spacesuits – in summer and in autumn”, – Solovyov said.
