Russian Cargo vehicle Progress M-29M will undock from the ISS on March 29 and will be performing free-flight for about a week playing a part of flying laboratory, – MCC representative reported on Monday, March 21.

“Undocking is planned for march 29. The vehicle will be flying free up to April 3-7 in the framework of the “Curve” experiment”, – the spokesman stated.  Later Progress will be de-orbited and sink in non-navigational region of the Pacific Ocean not far from new Zealand.

According to MCC data the “Curve” experiment is aimed at studying microgravity conditions onboard the vehicle and developing methods to minimize its impact.

According to other sources the undocking is scheduled for March 30, and de-orbiting – for April 8.
