Today, October 19, 2016, 11.05, Moscow time, Soyuz MS-02 manned spacecraft was successfully launched by Soyuz-FG booster from #31 launchpad of Baikonur launchsite with crew commander Sergey Ryzhikov (Roscosmos) and flight engineers Andrei Borisenko (Roscosmos) and Robert Shane Kimbrough (NASA) onboard.
In 9 minutes Soyuz separated from the 3rd stage of the booster and MCC specialists took over the control of its flight. The program stipulates for 2-days rendezvous scheme. Thus the docking is planned for October 21, 2016, 12.59, Moscow time and is considered to take place in automated mode under control of MCC specialists and Roscosmos cosmonaut Anatoly Ivanishin working onboard the ISS.
