On January 12, 1907, one of the greatest scientists, the founder of Soviet and Russian Cosmonautics Sergey Korolyov was born. This year we celebrate 110 years anniversary of Korolyov’s birthday. This great man was fond of aviation and space since he was a small child. He developed his first aircraft project at the age of 17.
It was Sergey Korolyov who made long-standing dream of the humanity come true sending to space first artificial satellite on October 4, 1957, and then on April 12,1961, the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin.
His motto was “If you have a with you will find a way”.
Without any doubts Sergey Korolyov is a hero of his time and one of the most remarkable personalities in the history of space exploration.
