Russian space industry enterprises will be consolidated in the frameworks of JSC integrated structure, – Russian Vice Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin told the journalists.

Draft of Russian President Resolution on rocket and space industry reforming will be prepared, the principles of this reforming are as follows: consolidation in the framework of a single integrated structure is not a state corporation, but a joint-stock company conventionally named Joint Rocket and Space Corporation”, – Rogozin reported.

According to him this corporation will own all government’s stakes and Federal Unity Enterprises of Rocket and Space Industry while launching complexes of Baikonur, Plesetsk and Vostochny spaceports will remain under the authority of Roscosmos.

Different variants of future space industry structure were discussed earlier including the idea of creating Space State Corporation. Gradual uniting of industry enterprises in large JSC holdings reporting to Roscosmos with 100% public ownership was also considered. There was also a possibility of forming Ministry that cannot be excluded.

Rogozin reminded that President took a decision on creating special commission to develop the concept of space industry reforming. He added that in the framework of this reforming a sound analysis of state of affairs of all industry enterprises is planned. Uniform technical policy narrowing product lineup by the means of engineering decisions universalization will be introduced thus raising fail safety of the products manufactured.

“ It is just an approximate direction and without such radical and long awaited decisions rocket and space industry is unable to develop”, – Rogozin stated.
