Russian Mission Control Centre specialists plan another station reboost maneuver to increase ISS orbit medium altitude for August 31, 2013, – MCC representative reported to RIA-Novosti.

“The nearest station reboost maneuver is scheduled for August 31 and will be carried out with the help of ATV-4 “Albert Einstein” European cargo vehicle docked to ISS”, – the source reported.

As NASA reported, the operation on increasing ISS orbit medium altitude will start t 11.34 Moscow time, the maneuver will last for about 2 minutes and a half, the station will get the impulse of 0,34 m/s.

As a result of the maneuver the minimal altitude over the Earth’s surface is planned to amount to 412,7 km, maximum altitude over the earth’s surface – 418,7 km

MCC representative specified that station reboost maneuver is aimed at creating optimal conditions for Soyuz TMA-10M with new ISS mission crew onboard docking to the ISS. The crew consists of Oleg Kotov (Roscosmos), Sergey Ryazansky ( Roscosmos) and Michael Hopkins ( NASA).
