Alexander Skvortsov and Sergey Ryzhikov, cosmonauts of the main and backup crews of the ISS-60/61, successfully performed a test training at the specialized “Exit-2” simulator.

Specialists from the GCTC, Mission Control Center, RSC “Energia” and “Zvezda”company checked their readiness for independent work in the “Orlan-ISS” spacesuits and the performing of the lock in the ISS.

Emergency situations were determined by the commission immediately before the start of the training.

The cosmonauts were faced with leakage of the spacesuits during the work in open space, situations with increasing pressure in the spacesuit, leakage of the exit hatch.

According to the results of the training on the specialized “Exit-2” simulator, Alexander Skvortsov and Sergey Ryzhikov were allowed to work independently in the “Orlan-ISS” spacesuits, as well as to perform locking in the ISS in accordance with the ” ISS – 60/61Technical Training Requirements”.
