Today, on June 13, 2019, a meeting of the State Commission was held at the Baikonur cosmodrome at which the results of the preparation of the “Proton-M” launch vehicle with the “Spectrumr-RG” spacecraft and the ground infrastructure of the launch complex were reviewed.

After the reports of the work managers, the commission made a decision on the readiness of the space rocket to be roll out to the launch pad № 81.

All operations are scheduled for the morning of June 14th.

A few hours earlier, in the Assembly and Testing building, the launch vehicle was overloaded to the transport and installation unit.

Specialists of Roscosmos enterprises perform final operations with a space rocket.

The launch of the “Proton-M” launch vehicle with the “DM-03” upper stage and the “Spectrumr-RG” Russian astrophysical observatory is scheduled for June 21, 2019 at 15:17:14 (Moscow time).

“Spectrum-RG” is a Russian project with German participation, aimed at creating an astrophysical orbital observatory, designed to study the Universe in the X-ray wavelength range.
