Today, on August 19, 2019, the “Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle with the “Soyuz MS-14” spacecraft was rolled out from the Assembly and Testing building and installed at the launch pad of platform № 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

Works began on the program of a zero launch day.

Specialists of enterprises of the rocket and space industry performing pre-launch technological operations.

Today autonomous tests of systems and assemblies of a spacecraft, launch vehicle and launch complex are carried out.

The launch is scheduled for August 22, 2019 at 06:38:33 (Moscow time).

This will be the first launch of a “Soyuz MS” series spacecraft by a “Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle in a cargo-reversible (unmanned) version.

The purpose of the flight is to deliver to the International Space Station equipment for scientific experiments, medicines, containers with food, consumable equipment, packages for the crew, as well as cargo delivery from the station.

On board of the ship is the anthropomorphic robot “Skybot F-850”, created by Android Technology company and the Advanced Research Foundation.
