At the GCTC began the examination complex training of the main and backup crews of the ISS-61/62 / EP-19.

The backup crew, consisting of cosmonaut Sergey Ryzhikov, astronaut Thomas Marshburn and space flight participant from the UAE Sultan Al Neyadi, was the first to start testing on the simulator of the “Soyuz” spacecraft.

The crew commander Sergey Ryzhikov reported to the members of the examination committee about the readiness to begin training.

Then the crew pulled out a ticket, listing emergency situations, that might occur during a training “flight” on the ship.

Before taking their places in the seats inside the simulator, Sergey Ryzhikov, Thomas Marshburn and Sultan Al Neyadi talked with representatives of Russian and foreign media.

Then, on the Russian segment of the ISS, training began with the main crew of the ISS-61/62 / EP-19, consisting of cosmonaut Oleg Skrypochka, astronaut Jessica Meir and space flight participant from the UAE Hazza Al Mansouri.
