The descent vehicle of the “Soyuz MS-14” spacecraft with the anthropomorphic robot “Skybot F-850” on September 7, 2019 at 00:32 (Moscow time) made a successful landing.

All landing operations were completed normally.

In the “Soyuz MS-14” spacecraft the control system for movement and navigation of controlled descent has been modernized.

The analog descent control system was completely replaced by a digital one, developed at the RSC “Energia ” (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation).

The ship was part of the International Space Station since August 27, 2019.

The ship delivered equipment for scientific experiments, medical supplies, containers with food, packages for the crew, as well as the anthropomorphic robot “Skybot F-850”.

Roscosmos cosmonauts for several days tested the robot system in space flight.

The launch of the “Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle with the “Soyuz MS-14″ spacecraft took place on August 22, 2019.

It passed in unmanned mode and became a test for a launch vehicle with a control system, developed by ” NPO Avtomatika” (part of Roscosmos State Corporation).

Previously, the “Soyuz-2.1a” rocket launched into orbit only “Progress” series cargo spacecraft and various spacecrafts.

After the launch, which is scheduled for September 25, the “Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle will replace “Soyuz-FG” in missions to deliver crews to the International Space Station.
