At the Baikonur cosmodrome preparations for the upcoming launch of the “Soyuz-FG” rocket and the “Soyuz MS-15” spacecraft are continuing.

A meeting of the technical management was held, at which a decision was made on the admission of the ship to refuel.

On September 12, 2019, specialists from the rocket and space industry began operations to refuel the “Soyuz” with fuel components and compressed gases.

In parallel, the assembly of the “package” (blocks of the first and second stages) of the “Soyuz-FG” launch vehicle was completed in the Assembly and Testing building.

The launch of the “Soyuz-FG” launch vehicle with the “Soyuz MS-15” spacecraft to the International Space Station is scheduled for September 25, 2019 from the Gagarinsky launch pad of the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

The main crew of the ISS-61/62 / EP-19 is the cosmonaut Oleg Skrypochka, astronaut Jessica Meir and a spaceflight participant from the UAE Hazza Al Mansouri.

Their backups are cosmonaut Sergey Ryzhikov, astronaut Thomas Marshburn and space flight participant Sultan Al Neyadi.
