On September 25, 2019 at 16:57:42 (Moscow time), the “Soyuz-FG” launch vehicle with the “Soyuz MS-15” spacecraft launched from the platform № 1 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

All stages of the flight were normal.

At 17:06:31 (Moscow time), the ship separated from the third stage of the carrier on the target orbit.

The crew of the ship: Oleg Skrypochka (commander), Jessica Meir (flight engineer-1) and Hazza Al Mansouri (flight engineer-2).

Currently, the ship continues its autonomous flight to the International Space Station under the guidance of specialists from the Mission Control Center (in Korolev city).

The approchement of the “Soyuz MS-15” spacecraft with the ISS and the docking to the Zvezda service module is planned to be carried out automatically in a four-turn mode.

Docking is scheduled in about 6 hours, at 22:45 (Moscow time).

On board of the ship are 180 kg of cargo for the crews of the Russian and American segments of the station.

As part of the cargo are equipment for space experiments, biomedical and geophysical research, life support equipment, personal items of cosmonauts.

Today, the last launch of the “Soyuz-FG” launch vehicle from the Gagarinsky launch pad took place.

Further, platform № 1 will be modernized for launching “Soyuz-2” launch vehicles.
