On the November 1, 2019 from the Khrunichev Space Center was sent a train with blocks of the “Proton-M” launch vehicle, an upper stage and a head fairing to the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

All activities, related to the sending, were completed on a regular basis.

The “Proton-M” launch vehicle with the DM-03 upper stage, created at RSC “Energia” (part of Roscosmos State Corporation) and the head fairing of the Lavochkin Scientific Production Association (part of Roscosmos State Corporation), will be used to launch the Russian meteorological satellite “Electro-L” № 3.

In addition, a full-size refueling model of the “Breeze-M” upper stage is also transported by this train.

Using a prototype, the cosmodrome specialists will perform complex tests of the new refueling position of the “Breeze-M” upper stage in the interests of the Khrunichev Space Center.
