On December 6, 2019 at 12:34:11 (Moscow time) the “Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle with the “Progress MS-13” cargo spaceship was launched from the launch pad № 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

The regular disclosure of antennas and solar panels was fixed.

After separating of the ship from the third stage of the carrier, the specialists of the Main Flight Management group of the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS) began to manage its flight.

The approach of the “Progress MS-13” cargo ship to the ISS and the docking to the “Pirs” docking module are planned to be carried out automatically under the control of the Mission Control Center specialists and Russian crew members – Roscosmos cosmonauts Alexander Skvortsov and Oleg Skrypochka.

The docking is scheduled for December 9, 2019 at 13:38 (Moscow time). The live broadcast will be available on the Roskosmos website in the Online Broadcasts section.

The spacecraft will deliver to the International Space Station fuel and gas with a total mass of 700 kg, as well as 1,350 kg of various equipment and cargoes, including resource equipment for onboard control and life support systems, instruments for conducting scientific research experiments, sanitary and hygienic materials and items for medical control , 420 liters of water in the tanks and standard food products.
