Preparations are in process at the Baikonur Cosmodrome for launching the “Proton-M” launch vehicle with the DM-03 upper stage and “Electro-L” №3 Russian meteorological satellite.

The launch is scheduled for December 24, 2019 at 15:03 (Moscow time).

On the morning of December 21, in accordance with the work schedule, a space rocket was delivered to the launch site of the cosmodrome and installed at the launch pad №81.

After the service tower and communications have been connected, specialists from the Russian rocket and space industry will begin work on the schedule of the first launch day.

Within a few days, autonomous inspections of the “Elektro-L”, the “Proton-M” launch vehicle, the “DM-03” upper stage and also the final operations of the rocket control system will be carried out.

On December 23, a meeting of technical management on the results of tests of space rocket systems will be held, and on the morning of December 24, a meeting of state commissions will be held to decide on refueling and subsequent launch.
