At Baikonur Cosmodrome the preparation of the “Progress MS-14” cargo ship for launch under the International Space Station program continues.

On Friday, March 27, 2020, a joint team of specialists of the Yuzhny Space Center and the RSC “Energia” (parts of Roscosmos State Corporation) completed the leak test of the ship in the vacuum chamber of the Assembly and Testing building of site № 254.

The pneumatic vacuum test cycle is the most objective method of monitoring the stringent requirements for tightness of the compartments and on-board systems of the ship in ground conditions.

The launch of the ‘Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle with the “Progress MS-14” cargo ship to the International Space Station is scheduled for April 25, 2020 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

It will deliver to the crew of the 63rd Expedition the fuel and gas reserves, as well as office equipment and life support equipment under the program of the 75th ISS Supply Mission.
