Launch pad for Angara will be delivered to Vostochny along the Northern Sea Route by September.

The enormous launch pad weighting more than 2000 tons will be delivered from Severodvinsk, Arkhangelsk region. In July specialized ship “Barents” with launch pad and  vacuum unit developed for Vostochny manned program aboard will depart from Severodvinsk.

Angara launch complex construction at Vostochny started in 2019. Earlier it was reported that the first launch of Angara-A5 booster with Oryel unmanned vehicle from Vostochy is planned for September 2023.

Two more Angara launches are preliminary scheduled for 2024. One with Oryol vehicle and another one with heavy satellite.
