Rocket and Space Corporation “Energia” and Space Adventures, Inc. have signed a contract for a short duration spaceflight of two tourists on board the same “Soyuz” spacecraft to the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS).

Participants will have an opportunity to conduct a spacewalk outside the space station, becoming the first private citizens in history to experience the open space. Accepted candidates will be required to complete specialized training and additional simulations in preparation for the spacewalk.
