ISS-66 crewmembers

A meeting of the Chief Medical Commission took place at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center (GCTC) to review the medical examinations data of commanders, as well as spaceflight participants of the ISS-66 prime and backup crews.

The commission includes representatives of GCTC, Roscosmos, the Federal Medical and Biological Agency, the Institute of Medical and Biological Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The commission deemed Roscosmos cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, spaceflight participants Yulia Peresild and Klim Shipenko (ISS-66 prime crew), as well as Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev, spaceflight participants Alyona Mordovina and Alexey Dudin (ISS-66 backup crew) as medically fit for spaceflight.

The launch of the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft with the ISS-66 crew is scheduled for October 5, 2021.
