Russian Rocket and Space Corporation Energia together with two American companies Lockheed Martin and Boeing adjusts the newest American Orion manned spacecraft for the docking with Russian space devices.

It was RSC Energia President Vladimir Solntsev to report about joint projects. According to him spacecrafts are to be adjusted – “we have to help each other in case of any off-nominal situation”.

Flying to the deep space Orion is to be able to dock with other spacecrafts. This issue as well as many other we discussed at the meetings with  Lockheed Martin and Boeing representatives held in USA last week”, – Solntsev stated.

Following the results of these meetings a series of protocols on further cooperation was signed. American partners are interested in joint programs on deep space exploration.
