Several months ago Roscosmos announced its intention to develop touristic programs in Baikonur.

There was a program elaborated to improve the quality of services in this field since such specific touristic programs as spaceport tours launch observation grow more and more popular.

Now this branch of tourism is controlled directly by Roscosmos, the Agency has held tender so that only authorized tour operators could provide tours to Baikonur spaceport.

At the present time Vegitel Tour specializing in the field of aerospace tourism for more than 10 years is the only company authorized to arrange such touristic services.
