Today, on June 13, 2019, a meeting of the State Commission was held at the Baikonur cosmodrome at which the results of the preparation of the "Proton-M" launch vehicle with the "Spectrumr-RG" spacecraft and the ground infrastructure of the launch complex were reviewed. The launch of the "Proton-M" launch vehicle with the "DM-03" upper stage and the "Spectrumr-RG" Russian astrophysical observatory is scheduled for June 21, 2019 at 15:17:14 (Moscow time). "Spectrum-RG" is a Russian project with German participation, aimed at creating an astrophysical orbital observatory, designed to study the Universe in the X-ray wavelength range.

A final assembly of the "Proton-M" space launch vehicle started at the Baikonur cosmodrome. It will launch the Russian communications and television satellite "Yamal-601" in the interests of the satellite operator Gazprom Space Systems.
