Today, on June 13, 2019, a meeting of the State Commission was held at the Baikonur cosmodrome at which the results of the preparation of the "Proton-M" launch vehicle with the "Spectrumr-RG" spacecraft and the ground infrastructure of the launch complex were reviewed. The launch of the "Proton-M" launch vehicle with the "DM-03" upper stage and the "Spectrumr-RG" Russian astrophysical observatory is scheduled for June 21, 2019 at 15:17:14 (Moscow time). "Spectrum-RG" is a Russian project with German participation, aimed at creating an astrophysical orbital observatory, designed to study the Universe in the X-ray wavelength range.

At the Baikonur Cosmodrome, specialists from Roscosmos enterprises performed a general assembly of the Proton-M" space rocket. Last weekend, the head part, consisting of the upper stage “DM-03” and the "Spectrum-RG" spacecraft, was transported from the assembly "clean" room to the Assembly hall of the launch vehicles. The launch of the "Proton-M" launch vehicle with the "DM-03" upper stage and the new "Spectrum-RG" orbital observatory is scheduled for June 21 at 15:17 (Moscow time).

At the Baikonur cosmodrome, the preparation for the launch of the "Proton-M" launch vehicle with the upper stage "DM-03" and the Russian observatory "Spectrum-RG" continues. In accordance with the established schedule of works, in the Assembly and Testing building of the 92A-50 site, specialists of Roscosmos enterprises completed the assembly of the head part of the "Proton-M" space rocket. The launch of the "Proton-M" launch vehicle with the "DM-03" upper stage and the Russian astrophysical observatory "Spectrum-RG" is scheduled for June 21, 2019 at 15:17 (Moscow time) from the site № 81 of the Baikonur cosmodrome.

The State Commission made a decision on the readiness of the "Proton-M" launch vehicle with the "Yamal-601" spacecraft, installed on the launch pad of the site № 200 on May 27, for refueling with fuel components and confirmed the launch time. The launch of the "Yamal-601" telecommunications satellite, manufactured by the French division of Thales Alenia Space according to the order of the Russian satellite operator JSC Gazprom Space Systems, is scheduled for May 30. The "Yamal-601" project is part of the Federal Program for the Development of Television and Radio Broadcasting in the Russian Federation.

A final assembly of the "Proton-M" space launch vehicle started at the Baikonur cosmodrome. It will launch the Russian communications and television satellite "Yamal-601" in the interests of the satellite operator Gazprom Space Systems. After the completion of the final assembly of the space rocket, its preparation for transportation to the technological refueling site for refueling of the "Breeze-M" upper stage will begin. The launch of a "Soyuz-FG" launch vehicle with a spacecraft "Soyuz MS-13" is scheduled for July 20, 2019.

On May 17, the assembly of the head part of the "Proton-M" space rocket for the launch of the Russian communications satellite "Yamal-601" began at the Baikonur cosmodrome. Currently, the "Yamal-601" assembled with the transition system developed by the Khrunichev Space Center. After completing the electrical checks of the “assembly” of the "Yamal-601" spacecraft with transition system, experts will assemble it with the "Breeze-M" upper stage. The launch of the "Proton-M" launch vehicle with the "Breeze-M" upper stage and the "Yamal-601" satellite will be performed in the interests of Gazprom Space Systems.

At the Baikonur cosmodrome the preparational works for the launch of the "Soyuz MS-14" spacecraft began. The "Soyuz-2.1a" launch vehicle stages were unloaded from the transportation cars in the Assembly and Testing facility of site № 31. Launch is scheduled for August 22, 2019.
