Proton booster will be launched for European Space Agency needs according to EDRS program from Baikonur spaceport on January 27, 2016, - ESA Head Johann-Dietrich Wörner reported on Friday.

Roscosmos operational crews go on working in accordance with Proton-M/Express-AM launch program.

Launch schedule of Proton boosters will be announced next week, - khrunichev Centre head Andrei Kalinovsky said the journalists on Monday. The schedule may be adjusted taking into account the accident happened on May 16, 2015, when Mexican MexSat-1 satellite was lost.

The first Proton-M booster launched after spring accident may orbit Russian Express telecommunication satellite, - Roscosmos Head Igor Komarov told the journalists. "Late this week Khrunichev Centre is to submit a plan that will enable to determine precise dates of Proton booster next launch", - he said.

The first launch of Progress cargo vehicle from Baikonur spaceport after spring accidents is planned for July 3. The vehicle will be launched with the help of Soyuz-U booster, - the spokesman stated.

Pump unit and the construction fixing it to Proton-M booster cruise engine will be modernized in the shortest term, - Khrunichev Centre Director Deputy Alexander Medvedev reported.
