Proton-M booster with European Astra-2G telecommunication satellite will be launched from Baikonur spaceport on Sunday, - Roscosmos spokesman reported.

On December 25, 2014 at 06.01, Moscow timeSoyuz-2.1b booster with telecommunication space device was successfully launched from #43 launchpad of Plesetsk State Test Spaceport. The launch was accomplished by Russian Ministry of Defence and Rocket and Space industry crews.

Preparations for the final launches in 2014 are under way at Baikonur. Today, on December 2014, rocket and space industry specialists rolled out two boosters to the launching pads of the spaceport.

Russian Soyuz-ST booster with Fregat-MT upper stage and four European 03b satellites to provide internet communication for the distant parts of the world was successfully launched from Kourou spaceport in French Guiana.

On December 11 in accordance with the decision taken by State commission on space complex flight tests the rocket was rolled out to the # 81 launchpad of Baikonur spaceport.
