In the Hydrolaboratory of the Cosmonaut Training Center, work continues on preliminary tests of the systems of the test-training complex with the implementation of the tasks of the upcoming spacewalks. The work within the framework of the tests is performed by the test-training team of the hydro laboratory.
The tests are carried out with the participation of the ISS-64 prime crew cosmonauts – Sergei Ryzhikov and Sergei Kud-Sverchkov, as well as stand-ins – Oleg Novitsky and Peter Dubrov. In the process of diving, they practice standard operations of extravehicular activity and target tasks of upcoming spacewalks on experimental facilities, including a model of the new module of the Russian segment of the International Space Station “Nauka”.
