Preparation works for the launch of Proton-M booster with Briz-M upper stage and Russian Express-AM7 satellite started at Baikonur spaceport Khrunichev centre press office reports.

At the present time the specialists accomplish works on autonomous preparations of Proton-M booster and other compounds of the payload.

Express-A7 space device delivered to Baikonur spaceport on February 19 is already installed on the test facility in the clean room. In two weeks it will be prepared for the future assembling with Briz-M upper stage. Working plan stipulates a series of functional and electrical testing and filling with propellant components.

Khrunichev Centre specialists  completed the assembling of booster’s three stages and started pneumatic testing.

After a series of testing Briz-M upper stage was transported from integration building to fuel service area where the specialists will be filling its high-pressure tanks with propellant components. Filling operations will last for 2 days. After that the upper stage is to pass a number of testing.

The launch of Express-AM7 space device is scheduled for March 19.
