Soyuz rockets launched from Vostochny spaceport will be equipped with onboard video control system observing rocket’s behavior in space (particularly stage separation) as well as with new onboard computers and storage battaries, – Progress central assembly and design engineering bureau who is the manufacturer of these rockets.

“This video control system will monitor all processes during the launch and powered flight, first of all the process of stages separation, – Progress press-office representative stated.
Earlier progress primary designers meeting under the chairmanship of Roscosmos Head Deputy Alexander Ivanov discussed the issues of readiness for the 1st launch from Vostochny spaceport planned for 2015.

Progress General Constructor deputy Dmitry Baranov stated that launch from Vostochny scheduled for 2015 is beyond all doubts.

According to Baranov Souz-2 in A,B and V modifications will be launched from Vostochny. “ The booster will have some peculiarities connected with adaptations to new spaceport, nickel-cadmium chemical power sources, new onboard computing system Malakhhit-7 and onboard video control system”, – Baranov reported.

Vostochny spaceport I being constructed near Uglerodsk town in Amur region. The 1st booster launch from the spaceport is planned for 2015, the 1st manned spacecraft launch – for 2018.
