Russian cargo vehicle Progress M-22M that is to be launched in the framework of ISS program on February 5, 2014 with the help of Soyuz-U booster has successfully passed through all the leak checks in the vacuum chamber at Baikonur spaceport,- Roscosmos press-service reports.

“Since the end of previous week the space freighter stayed in the vacuum chamber used to performe spacecrafts leak checks. Today in the morning, upon the completion of these tests, the vehicle was moved to assembly facility. After mating of required ground connections tests of Progress M-22M will be continued” – stated in the message.

The space freighter is to deliver to the International Space Station more than two and a half tons of payloads including propellant to provide proper parameters of the station orbit, service equipment, food supplies, water and air for the crew and kits with scientific experiments.
