Preparation works for the first space launches in 2014 started at Baikonur spaceport today.

Fuel service units operation centre crew of “Yuzhny” space centre started preparing equipment and facilities of site 31 fuel service unit for Proton-M/TurkSat-4A cargo vehicle fill with propellant components.

Preparation works for Briz-M upper stage fill also started at fuel-and-neutralization unit of site 91A today.

Activation of boosters, upper stages and space devices starts some of these days.

Soyuz-U with progress M-22Mcargo vehicle and proton-M booster with Turkish TurkSat-4A communication satellite are to be launched form Baikonur this February, – Roscosmos press office reports.
