According to training program on January 20-31 GCTC will conduct autonomous complex survival training on actions in case of off-nominnal landing on marshy and forested terrain in winter. Cosmonauts and astronauts going to the ISS in 2015 and 2016 take part in these winter survival simulations.

In accordance with training conditions the crew has to perform the following operations: changing clothes inside the descent module, building shelters, signaling to search aircrafts, medical treatment of the injured person and cooperation with the search and rescue teams. Survival trainings are monitored by the specialists controlling the process of the trainings as well as by instructors, doctors and psychologists. Upon the completion of these tests specialists will assess the work and actions of all participants.
