Two Soyuz-ST Boosters to be launched from Kourou this Summer

Russian Soyuz-ST boosters with European satellites will be launched from equatorial Kourou spaceport in French Guiana in June and July 2014.

The launch of Soyuz-ST booster with Fregat-MT upper stage and four scientific satellites is scheduled for July 10. Besides on August 21 Russian Soyuz-ST will orbit two European communication satellites to enlarge Galileo navigational group.

It was reported earlier that Arianspace Compamy signed with Roscosmos a contract for delivery of 7  extra Soyuz-ST boosters. This new contract will enable the company to fullfill government and provate orders up to 2019.
