Progress M-23M cargo vehicle will undock from the ISS on Tusday and perform the flight to conduct scientific experiment, – Mission Control Centre representative reported.

Radar-Progress experiment is planned to be conducted onboard Progress in the period from July 22 to August 1. The experiment deals with the exploration of ground-based observation facilities recording reflectance characteristics of plasma inhomogeneities generated in ionosphere by thrusters, – the spokesman stated.

On Thursday, July 24, Progress M-24M cargo vehicle will be sent to the ISS instead of the undocked one. The vehicle will  deliver to the station propellant, oxygen, foodstuffs, equipment for scientific experiments and parcels for the crew members.

Soyuz-U booster with Progress M-24M launch to the ISS from Baikonur spaceport is planned for July 24, 01.44, Moscow time.
