Soyuz TMA-14M Main and Back-up Crews Arrived at Baikonur Spaceport

Today, on September 12, Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre charters brought main and back-up crew of Soyuz TMA-14M manned spacecraft to Baikonur spaceport.  Roscosmos, Yuzny space Centre and international Space School student greeted the newly arrived cosmonauts and astronauts.

At Baikonur main crew made up of Roscosmos cosmonauts Alexander Samokutyayev and Elena Serova and NASA astronaut Barry Wilmore along with the back-up crew comprising Gennady Padalka (Roscosmos) , Mikhail Korniyenko ( Roscosmos) and Scott Kelly are going to have final preflight trainings.

The main trainings will take place on the basis of #13 launchpad test and training facility. The crews will also have two Soyuz TMA-14M fit check trainings, at the present time the spacecraft is being prepared in #254 launchpad integration building.

 

Soyuz-FG booster with Soyuz TMA-14M spacecraft is planned for September 26.
