Today on October 30, Soyuz TMA-15M main and back-up crews started complex examinational training in GCTC.

The main crew comprising Roscosmos cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov (Russia), ESA astronaut Samantha Christoforetti (Italy) and NASA astronaut Terry Virts (USA) will be the first to pass the training on Russia ISS segment simulator while the back-up crew made up of Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, JAXA astronaut Kimiya Yui and NASA astronaut Kjell Lindgren  will be passing the training on Soyuz TMA-M spacecraft simulator.

Tomorrow the crews will change

Following the results of the exams State Commission will make a decision on the readiness as of the crews and every cosmonaut for the launch.

Soyuz TMA-15M launch is scheduled for November 24, 00.01, Moscow time. At the present time rocket and space industry specialists consider the possibility of the launch taking place from #31 instead of #1 launchpad (Gagarin launch)  due to the maintenance works.
