Japanese space fan Satoshi Takamatsu won’t go to the International Space station on September 1 instead Sarah Brightman who cancelled her flight.

Takamatsu has only a contract for preflight preparation trainings as a part of the crew comprising Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Volkov and ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen signed. His flight was not discussed, – said the spokesman.

As was reported earlier Takamatsu paid only for preflight preparation program.

“This sum doesn’t exceeds 20 million dollars, it may be even less while for the ISS flight costs about 77 millions. This is another sum of money especially if one needs to collect it very quickly to sign additional contract, – the spokesman stated.

The launch of Soyuz TMA-18M with Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Volkov as a crew commander and ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen onboard is scheduled for September 1, 2015 and will take place from Baikonur spaceport.
